HPLFF awards announced...


The official H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival site has announced the award winners from this years fest, including the Howie Award, which was given to director/screenwriter Dan O'Bannon (The Resurrected)...

The Brown Jenkin went to Relic of Cthulhu for Best Comedy, Dirt Dauber (Best Short) and Colour from the Dark (Best Feature), and the audience pick for Best Adaptation went to
Pickman's Muse and Best of Show (audience pick) went to Relic of Cthulhu...

The Deep One Award (Best Screenplay) was given to Andrew Fuller's Effulgence...

Colour from the Dark was also nominated for Best Adaptation and Best of Show, and Forlorn Hope was nominated for Best Period Film...
