The Transition of Juliet and Romeo...
Writer/director Stuart Jamieson is in early pre-production on The Transition of Juliet and Romeo, inspired by the works of HPL and William Shakespeare. Produced by Teamgecko Production, and starring Alex Grant as Romeo, the film is a contemporary tale, where Juliet and Romeo are separated not by a family feud but by social strata...
Romeo is a humble mail clerk in Verona Legal Services and Juliet is the daughter of the CEO; when Juliet's father uses the Necronomicon to summon outer god Yog Sothoth all Hell is literally unleashed. Now our star crossed lovers must battle Fate, the forces of darkness, and parental disapproval so that they might spend eternity together...
With an aimed release date of April 2011, the producers are currently looking for funding, which you can learn more about here...

(Thanks to Stuart Jamieson)

Now if someone would make THE STRANGE CASE OF CHARLES DEXTER HAMLET, I could die a happy man.
ReplyDeleteThank you Craig
ReplyDelete@Thomas that would work; with Hamlet resurrecting his father who kills him and takes his place before taking revenge on his brother (Hamlet's Uncle)
