The Thing goes there...
Details have emerged concerning the prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing currently awaiting Universal's approval. The script, written by Rondald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), takes place in the time leading up to the events portrayed in Carpenter's classic. Matthijs Van Heijningen is already attached to direct...
Moore tells Sci Fi Wire, "...the idea was to make a companion piece to Carpenter's. I started on the project with the feeling that Carpenter's version is just an amazing piece of work. It's a great film, and we really wanted to honor that version."
