Poe and Blackwood on the NY stage...


The works of horror legends Edgar Allan Poe and Algernon Blackwood will be brought to life onstage in New York City, courtesy of Radiotheatre and the Vagabond Theatre Ensemble...

Radiotheatre's ongoing series, Sundays with Poe, runs through June 28th (at 2 p.m.) on the last Sunday of each month at Manhattan's Under St. Mark's (94 St. Mark's Place). Tickets are $18 and can be purchased here...

Feb.22 - The Tell Tale Heart, The Raven, Morella, Hop Frog
Mar.29 - The House Of Usher, The Masque Of The Red Death, The Cask Of Amontillado, The Case Of M.Valdemar
Apr.26 - The Premature Burial, Berenice, The Tell Tale Heart, Annabel Lee
May 31 - Ligeia, The Raven, The System Of Dr.Tarr and Prof. Fether, The Case of M.Valdemar
June 28 - The Tell Tale Heart, The Cask Of Amontillado, The Murders In The Rue Morgue


Radiotheatre opens The Works of H.P. Lovecraft in April!


Algernon Blackwood's The Wendigo, presented by the Vagabond Theatre Ensemble runs through Feb. 28th (Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees Feb. 8 and 22 at 3 p.m.) at the Medicine Show Theater in the Ensemble Studio Theater Building (549 West 42nd Street, 3rd floor). The Wendigo tells the story of four hunters lost in the Canadian woods who begin descending into madness while under attack by an unseen creature...
