Filmmaker Joseph Nanni sends word that pre-production is underway on his latest Lovecraftian effort, Black Goat! After a busy 2010, which saw fan favorites The Necronomicon and Elder Sign screen in over 30 festivals (including Fantasia, Toronto After Dark and the HPLFF), Bad Advice for Good Times will begin the new year by shooting the first part of the film later this month...
In a previous update, Joseph had this to say about the project, "I don't want to give away too much but it is a period piece, it is not a comedy, and it develops and expands the myth of Shub [-Niggurath]. The film will also play in a unique geographical area where Shub calls home. John Coulthart (Haunter of The Dark) has agreed to do production design."
The film will be produced independently, and a page will be launched soon where fans can support the project in return for "some serious premiums"...
