Los Angeles Lovecraft fest today...

Just a reminder...

The historic Warner Grand Theatre will host the Los Angeles incarnation of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival today and tickets are still available! The LA fest should be a great place to start for people new to Lovecraftian cinema, as they have the classics (Re-Animator, Cool Air and The Music of Erich Zann), recent favorites (AM 1200 and The Call of Cthulhu) and for those not in the know, Lovecraft: Fear of the Unknown. Plus filmmakers galore! Guests include Andrew Migliore (founder of the Portland fest) and the directors of all six films, Stuart Gordon, Frank Woodward, David Prior, Bryan Moore, John Strysik and Andrew Leman & Sean Branney...

I hope people turn out in droves, so the LA fest can turn into the amazing event that the Portland fest became...

Check out press coverage for the event at the Daily Breeze, Hollywood Gothique, LA Weekly and
The Los Angeles Times...
