Beyond the Wall of Sleep, a new short film by Nathan Fisher of Murfreesboro, premieres tonight at 9:30 p.m. at The Belcourt in Nashville, Tennessee.

Shot in a neo-noir style in and around Murfreesboro, Nashville and Springfield, the film tells the story of Dr. Kaufman who must attempt to find the source of violent madness in a new patient that arrives at his asylum...

Joe Slater has suffered his entire life from strange fits upon awakening, ranting and screaming to the heavens. When Joe murders a neighbor in the throes of one of his attacks he comes under the care of the one man who may be able to discover what lies beyond the wall of sleep...
