Hunter's Moon casting under way...

Doug Post of Bloody Rose Productions sends word that casting is underway on Curse of the Hunter's Moon! The film started out as a remake of John H. Johnson's Curse of the Blue Lights, and originally, the storyline revolved around a group of high-school students who, despite a wave of recent disappearances, decide to throw an early Halloween party on the night of the Hunter's Moon. They are unaware, however, that Krul, one of the last ghouls, is planning to bring the Queen of the Ghouls back to life-but he needs bloody sacrifices to do so, and has a dead army to help him get them...

The new script focuses more on the Lovecraft Mythos, and will focus more on scares than the original. Shooting is scheduled for late 2009, early 2010...
